Card Makers Success Summit - Spring 2026

  INSTRUCTIONS FOR MY PROJECTS


Prep Work:

2 A2 Card Bases

2 A2 Black panels

A2 or slightly larger white panel

5.5 x 8.5 white cardstock for stamping

 

Step by Step Instructions:

1.       Stamp the images desired and the sentiment from the Dare 2B Artzy BBQ Time Stamp set.

2.       Color these images with alcohol markers and then die cut or fussy cut out.

3.       Cut the Altenew Garden Trellis Cover Die into an A2 white panel (or slightly larger).

4.       Stamp the Altenew Craft Your Life Dynamic Blossoms floral image in black ink.

5.       Color the flowers using the Dynamic Blossoms stencil with Altenew Camomile and then add accents with Altenew Snapdragon ink.

6.       Stamp the 2nd layer on the flowers with Altenew Marigold or Terracotta Ink.

7.       Color the leaves with a stencil using Altenew Bamboo ink then highlight with Altenew Parrot ink.

8.       Stamp the 2nd layer of the leaves with Altenew Moss ink.

9.       Heat set the floral image

10.  Cover the image in anti-static powder

11.  Stamp the 3rd and last layer of the flowers using embossing ink.

12.  Cover this with Brutus Monroe Gilded embossing powder, tap off and then heat it to melt it.

13.  Die cut or fussy cut this image out.

14.  Cover a small amount of white cardstock with anti static powder, stamp your desired sentiment with embossing ink and then cover with Brutus Monroe Gilded embossing powder.  Heat it to melt it.

15.  Attach the Garden Trellis panel with a small piece of tape (like a hinge) to the black A2 panel.

16.  Cover the entire panel with embossing ink using a foam blending tool

17.  Cover the panel with Brutus Monroe Gilded Sparkle embossing powder.  Heat this to melt the powder.

18.  Repeat the last 3 steps.

19.  Trim if you want and set aside.

20.  Cover the white Garden Trellis panel with embossing ink using the foam blending tool.

21.  Cover this with Brutus Monroe Sterling embossing powder.  You can do this ½ of the panel at a time.

22.  Repeat last 2 steps to give it a second coat.

23.  Glue the silver trellis panel to a black A2 panel. 

24.  Arrange the BBQ Time images and image to the panel as desired and glue down with liquid glue.

25.  Attach this to your card base.

26.  Add foam tape to the Dynamic Blossoms image and attach to the gold trellis panel and add the sentiment using liquid glue.

27.  Attach this to your card base.

Card Makers Success Summit - July/Aug 2025

 Instructions: 1.       Randomly ink blend Distress Oxides in Spun Sugar, Shaded LIlac and Tumbled Glass onto an A2 Hammermill 100 lb. Coverstock panel. 2.       After letting the panel dry, lay down the Brutus Monroe Whirlpool stencil over the panel, centering and cover the stencil with Brutus Monroe Strawberry Swirl and Elderberry Swirl Creative Confections using a palette knife. 3.       Let this panel dry and then cut down to 4 x 5 ¼. 4.       Place an A2 white Hammermill 100 lb.
